Abstract This article introduces the Hatem spade face-lift scissors (HSFS) which are a modification of spatula-tipped originally proposed by Trepsat. tool can be used for safe blunt dissection in facelift surgery and is available three sizes based on surgeon preference. Other tools exist such as dilation wands Dilson Luz dissectors Viterbo. These well suited dissection, however fine sub-SMAS we believe that HSFS provides distinct advantages. The minimizes injury to neurovascular structures, reduces need switch instruments frequently, increases comfort.
